For the second installment of The Blank Wall Project, I decided to turn over a new leaf...14 of them, in fact. I spray painted them gold, tied the stems to white string, and hung the string from nails that I spaced along the top of the board. I used masking tape to hold the leaves in place as I played with their arrangement, then double knotted the string and trimmed away the excess. Pressing your leaves for a few days will keep them from wrinkling—but I actually preferred the imperfect look here. Easy, breezy (the flow from our air conditioner makes them move ever so slightly), and yep, beautiful, if I do say so myself.
